Sandy Horizons is a small family business. We saw that some other operators drove in huge convoys, whereas Sandy Horizon operated smaller, more private tours without crowds. Our driver Louis was excellent and they served a delicious lunch along with sparkling wine and other beverages. The dunes are spectacular and the driving is very exciting but felt safe for a family due to the experience and safety-consciousness of of our driver and the operator - we enjoyed it with our 10 year old. Fantastic tour.
The views were amazing, what an incredible place to visit! Our family had a fantastic time both at the lagoon and then at Sandwich Harbor. Our driver was knowledgeable and gave us a really fun time riding on the dunes! Kids loved running up and down on the sand. The experience includes bubbly and snacks overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend this for families.
